Company. Cove Shoe uses a 125-step
manufacturing process to ensure premium quality
for each Matterhorn boot they produce. In
addition, For instance, the waterproof
GORE-TEX® fabric used in many styles allows feet
to breath while keeping water out. Some
Matterhorn military boots use DRYZ Intellitemp®
technology to manage moisture and odor while
regulating temperature to keep feet warm when
it’s cold and cool when it’s hot. Defender™
fabric is another Matterhorn boot option that
blends Kevlar® for thermal stability and cut
resistance with Nomex™ for inherent flame
resistance. Also, several Matterhorn military
boots and combat boots have Cambrelle® linings
that wick away moisture to keep feet dry.
Another option offered in many Matterhorn boot
styles is Thinsulate™ insulation to provide
warmth while still allowing the boots to be
lightweight. Nearly all Matterhorn boots also
have Vibram® outsoles for optimal traction.
